The Rockin' the Rivers' Facebook group shared a post today stating that a festival, Rockin' the Rockies will be taking place, but at a new venue in Lincoln, MT. The event will take place over 2 days, September 5th and 6th at the Grantier Ranch, just south of Lincoln.
Here in Butte, it's not uncommon for the premiere of a new summer blockbuster to skip us entirely, so it's good news that the new action/western movie "The Unholy Trinity" will, in fact, be playing here. It's even better news that this movie has our own Tim Montana playing a big role, making his major motion picture debut alongside such major players as Pierce Brosnan and Brandon Lessard and Samuel L. Jackson. Yes, that Samuel L. Jackson. The movie looks intense. Let's have a look.
It's no surprise how important his home state is to Tim Montana. You need not look further than his very name. Montana is in his music, his image, and his business ventures. If you want to see what Tim Montana means to his home state, you need look no further than the Montana Department of Commerce's Governor's Conference on Tourism where Tim just took home an incredible but very justified award.
Even by his lofty, recent standards, this has to be big for Tim Montana. 2025 will get off with a big bang as Tim has been announced as the supporting act for Myles Kennedy's "The Art of Letting Go" 2025 U.S.-Canada Tour which will kick off January 18th in Joliet, Indiana and wrap up in Kennedy's hometown of Spokane, Washington on February 21st.
