I believe it's fair to say that this weekend is essentially Montana's Super Bowl.

This Saturday at 2 p.m., the University of Montana and Montana State University will face off in Bozeman with a trip to the National Championship on the line.

Tickets Sell Out In Minutes For Historic Matchup

If you need proof of how big this game is, tickets reportedly sold out in just eight minutes.

Not only that, but this will be the first time ever these two teams have met in the playoffs. With a trip to Nashville on the line, ticket prices have skyrocketed.

As of publishing, tickets for the second Cat-Griz matchup of 2025 were being sold for as low as $483 and as high as $1,318 per seat.

These ticket prices are currently higher than any of the other ticket prices for the first round playoff games for the FBS.

No offense to Villanova or Illinois State, but in my book, this feels like the real FCS Championship game.

Sure, it would’ve been cool to see this game happen in Nashville, but getting two of the best FCS teams in the country battling it out right here in Montana is pretty special.
