These restaurants were considered fascinating for a variety of reasons, such as the famous people who have eaten there, or perhaps a dish that was created there went on to become iconic.

The reason they give for when it comes to Montana is that it's barely ever open, yet people will flock there when they are.

Love Food said the restaurant that was the most fascinating in Montana is the Polebridge Mercantile in Polebridge, Montana, just northwest of Glacier National Park.

This joint is pretty much all there is to the tiny, remote town of Polebridge, which lies in the northwest of the stunning Glacier National Park. It only operates on summer evenings, and even the bakery and shop are only open for limited hours from February to October, but when they are you won't want to miss out on the delectable baked goods, not least the famous huckleberry bear claws.
