Small-Town Flavor All Across the Treasure State

I know this article is titled "Hidden Gem," but I'm not sure how "hidden" this restaurant truly is.

Anyone who has eaten at it even once knows just how good their food is, and it's been that way for over 70 years.

Montana’s Best Local Fast Food, According to MSN

Revealing "hidden gems" can get ruined when too many people know about something, but when something like this restaurant is so good, you want to let everyone know about it.

Thankfully, it's not me spilling the beans on this delicious restaurant, as that is what MSN did when they highlighted the tastiest local fast food place in each state.

When it came to Montana, I think they knocked it out of the park, as it's been a favorite of mine since I first tried it 25 years ago.

We're of course talking about Ford's Drive-In, located in Great Falls, MT, and here's what MSN had to say about this iconic place:

An iconic establishment from the car-hop days, Ford's Drive-in gives you the fast food vibes of the 1950s — greasy burgers and shakes.

It's so nostalgic, you have to give it a visit if you're in town just to check out the super-friendly people.

It really is that good. My dad makes sure to eat there at least once when my parents come to visit, and I used to eat there nightly when I worked across the street and never once got sick of it.

It's not just Ford's either, as Montana is home to some other great local eateries, as you'll see in the gallery below!👇
