At the Great Falls Police Department Citizens Academy, you'll be exposed to various aspects of law enforcement.

You'll witness firsthand how investigations are conducted, learn about law enforcement procedures and everything in between.

You'll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of police work.

You'll also have the opportunity to ride with a Great Falls Police Department officer.

GFPD Citizens Academy Schedule

• September 18th and concluding on November 13th
• Wednesday Nights
• 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Full-day session on Saturday, November 9th
• 9:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM.

GFPS Citizens Academy Selection Details

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reside in Great Falls or the surrounding areas
• Background checks are conducted on all applicants
• Final approval rests with the Academy facilitator and police administration.
