A 4th McDonald’s In Great Falls?! Here’s What People Want Instead…

Last week, we broke a story to you about McDonald's opening a fourth location in eastern Great Falls. Sounds like good news, right? The expansion of Great Falls, a major company offering job opportunities, and of course, those delicious golden fries.

Not so fast.

When I shared the post to our station Facebook, all hell broke loose.

The New McDonald's: Good or Bad for McDonald's?

In case you missed it, we shared a story with you about McDonald's getting a new location at (or close to) 5300 10th Ave. S near Walmart.

Now for me, personally, I'm indifferent. If I really want McDonald's, I'll find a way to get to a McDonald's but I'm not the type to eat that kind of stuff regularly. Plus eating out regularly can get expensive, am I right?

Now don't get me wrong, just because I'm not a regular at McDonald's doesn't mean I don't enjoy hitting a drive-thru every now and then, but I wouldn't mind having something else besides a fourth McDonald's.

"Just be grateful that Panera Bread and Roadhouse Steakhouse is coming- great falls is dying for restaurants and shopping," Lori W. shared in our comment section, "What it doesn’t need is another Mickey D’s- one on each side of town is enough."

Another more sarcastic take got a lot of laughs out of our comment section.

"Yes, another McDonald's on 10th Ave S! I've been saying for years we need another run-down McDonald's!" Cory K. wrote, "I'm so excited, why the hell would someone with the money to open a new restaurant think I'm going to open the 4th McDonald's!"

"It will definitely be a money maker...... the unique diverse creative decision making in this plan is sure to pay off."
