It might be November in Montana but we haven't seen any significant snow amounts just yet. But, as we all know, snow in Montana is inevitable and it's only a matter of time before the entire state is covered in blankets of white.

But don't worry - it's not all bad... as a matter of fact, it can actually be a very beautiful thing for our state.

Montana Prepares For Winter Snowfall

Montana is already known for its big beautiful skies and the amazing mountain landscape, but once you sprinkle some (or lots) of the white stuff on top, there's nothing quite like it.

We might not have seen a lot of heavy snowfall in the area yet, but we know that's going to change sooner than later.

According to Current Results, Great Falls gets about 66 inches of snowfall a year and 45 full-on snow days a year, which creates plenty of opportunities for some magnificent photography. Before we know it, we'll be plugging in our block heaters, shoveling snow off of our sidewalks, and layering up for the subzero temperatures.
