How to Join the Fun with Cabin Fever Days in Montana
With another cold front set to move into Montana for the weekend and bring sub-zero temps, many of us will be hunkering down to stay warm. But for many, it means more snow and more fun to beat the winter blues.
A unique way to celebrate the winter weather and months in Montana is making our way to the mountain to ski or board. But, as with many activities, we love to put our own spin on things. Ever barstool raced in the snow?
Barstool Racing Down a Mountain in the Middle of Winter in Montana
An annual event is set to make its way back onto the slopes in February in Montana. Held in the historic town of Martin City, and organizers encourage the whole family to watch. Race day will be Saturday, February 15, 2025. There are even kids' races held during the event.

The Badrock Council hosts the events each year with fundraising efforts helping support the Hungry Horse and Martin City Volunteer Fire Departments, and the Canyon Quick Response Unit.

Get in on the Fun in Three Different Cities in the Montana Northwest
Events for the big day include fun for adults such as live music, competitions and events held throughout Bad Rock Canyon in the towns of Hungry Horse, Martin City, and Coram.

Festival events begin Friday, February 14th, and continue until Sunday, February 16th. The World Championship Barstool Ski Races will be held on Saturday, February 15th. For more event information you can check the website here.
