When it comes to riding things, I would like to think I have had some experience on various pieces of equipment.  I've driven combines, swathers, four wheelers, side by sides, fast cars, faster trucks and even the back of a horse more than I care to admit.

I've taken my chances riding wild stock in the corral, pulled around Tiber Resevoir by crazed family members on an innertube or boogie board, there was even the time we thought a car hood behind a truck in the snow was a good idea.

But riding this thing?  I have to reassess putting my butt in the saddle of this.

Catching The Fun and Icebergs at Iceberg Lake In Glacier

Iceberg Lake is a fantastic destination within the park itself.  Each year, there are several hundred of these smaller glaciers that float across the lake, even into late August.  Now is the time to take advantage and get out to ride a glacier.

The Iceberg Lake Trail is located in the Many Glacier Area and is one of the top hikes in Glacier Park.  The start of the trail is a little difficult with the rise in elevation, but overall, this is a great way to see the off the trail beauty that Glacier has.  However, make sure you are prepared.  Extra water and snacks are a must.  Plus, this is bear country, make sure you are making plenty of noise, have bear spray and know how to use it.
