How to Sign Up for the Academy and What You'll Experience During It

If you aren't familiar with the GFPD's Citizen's Academy, as a participant you will experience:

how investigations unfold, learn about police procedure, learn about use of force, and get hands on experience in multiple areas. Participants get to spend a shift on the street with a patrol officer, learning about the city and the daily calls that officers respond to.

To sign up for the academy, you must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Great Falls or the surrounding area.  GFPD will conduct background checks on all participants; participant approval will be at the discretion of the Academy facilitator and the police administration.  To learn more, visit here.
