When the weather starts to turn nicer, we always start thinking about the outside and all the things to get out and enjoy under Big Sky country skies.  It may include getting the house or the yard in tip top shape.  Creating the garden you've always wanted in the backyard.  Or heading out on one of the many backroads that lead to fresh air in the mountains and the ability to drown in a worm in one of our streams.  It is also a great time to start thinking about getting some new parts for the hotrod or maybe shoring up what is lacking in the gun safe.

Annual Swap Meet at the Fairgrounds to Get Your Ride in Shape for Summer

Whether it be a specialty piece or maybe just a fender, parts can be found this weekend at the Annual Parts Swap Meet being held at the fairgrounds in the Heritage building.  The doors will open on Friday at noon with a $5 admission fee.  Everyone can find something unique that their build may need.  Radiators, headlights, taillights, grilles, chrome pieces, you name it, you can probably find something for your mechanic and restoration needs.

The Great Falls Gun and Antique Show, Spring Edition

THis weekend also brings to us the sem-annual Gun & Antique show held at the Pacific Steel & Recycling building.  Hunting season not really that great last year?  Need a new rifle to bring down that elk?  Perhaps personal protection is more what you are looking for.  What about gear?  Backpacks, shooting benches, knives and more will all fill the tables this weekend.  Doors will open this weekend on Friday at 3pm with a $10 admission fee that is good for all weekend for adults.
