GFPS to Offer Free Health & Developmental Screenings

It is probably one of the scariest things that as an adult you will have to deal with.  It isn't an easy task either.  Raising a child is a full-time job that requires overtime.  And if you are a new parent, it may seem overwhelming at times.

Thankfully in Great Falls, many groups come together to help new and even experienced parents through those tough and uncertain times.

GFPS Join Forces Across the City for Free Screenings in November

A series of screenings are being offered with Great Falls Public Schools for children aged 0-5.  New and experienced parents are encouraged to attend to find details on:

  • Developmental Caregivers
  • Dental Health Checks
  • Hearing Checks
  • Vision Checks

Screenings will include lots of information, resources, and guidance for caregivers from local organizations.

Screening Dates and How to Sign Your Child Up in Great Falls

The first screening in the series is set for November 8th, 2024, at the Children's Museum of Great Falls.  The event will run from 9am to 1pm at 22 Railroad Square.

Following screenings will also be offered in 2025 for parents and children.  Those dates are as follows:

  • MAFB Youth Center on February 7th, 2025, from 9a-1p
  • Early Learning Family Center on April 4th, 2025, from 9a-1p

To reserve a spot in any of the three screenings, parents should call (406)-268-6400 to register.
