Girl Scouts Have a New Flavor to Tempt You and Your Dog in 2027

I am not really sure how I have managed to do it, but I still have one box of Thin Mint cookies from our local Great Falls Girl Scout cookie sale.  No, I won't take lowball offers for the box, I know what I have.

But now the scouts are bringing another new flavor to tempt our tastebuds when they go on sale across Montana again in January of 2027.  But humans aren't the only ones getting something delectable to savor, the Girl Scouts are going to the dogs in the upcoming New Year.

The cookie lineup from the Girl Scouts has had a few additions over the last several years, and for 2027 fans of those baked goodies will have a new flavor to choose.  2027 will bring Girl Scout Sparkables to their annual sales efforts across Great Falls.

The new cookie is made with oatmeal and will have chocolate chips and sprinkles to entice us.  The great thing about the new cookies is that Girl Scouts have teamed with Partake and will be free of the nine major food allergens.

The Girl Scouts are Going to the Dogs with New Treats for the Fur Baby Pals

It isn't just humans getting the goodness of the Girl Scouts, as the group has also announced a new treat for pups.  Patch Pals will be offered in 2027 for dogs and are a soft baked, blueberry muffin flavored treat created in partnership with the BARK company.

Each of the cookies will feature one of the four Girl Scout inspired patch design.  Both the new cookies will be available beginning on January 12, 2027, and are available online for direct shipping to your home.

As much as we enjoy Girl Scout Cookies in 2023, we often miss the ones that we used to love growing up. Have you heard of my personal favorite Girl Scout Cookies that are now retired?

Thanks-A-Lots
Shortbread cookies are always a win. This Girl Scout Cookie was dipped in chocolate and it also had a friendly message on it. It had the words "Thank You" on it.


Ole Oles
These powdered sugar cookies were delicious. They also had pecans and coconut mixed in and were reduced fat.

Lemon Chalet Creme
This was one of my favorite lemon cookies to ever exist. How could a lemon sandwich cookie ever go wrong? The added cinnamon and ginger made it one of a kind.

Juliettes,
I remember that these cookies were named after the founder of The Girl Scouts, Juliette Low. It reminded me of a chocolate turtle with its being covered in caramel, pecans and milk chocolate.

Ra Ra Raisens
This was unlike your ordinary raisin cookie. This Girl Scout Cookie brought in oatmeal and yogurt chips with the raisins.

Savannah Smiles
This Girl Scout Cookie knew how to put a smile on your face. They were lemon wedge cookies with powdered sugar.

Which Girl Scout Cookies Are Your Favorite?

I loved the Girl Scout Cookies that were discontinued but also enjoy the present day one as well.
