Montana Highway Patrol is Searching for New Recruits in the State
The Montana Highway Patrol have an immense job trying to cover the fourth largest state in the Union. And while traveling those highways across the state, troopers have a variety of different duties.

Troopers perform a vast array of tasks from providing education and maintaining traffic safety, to intercepting the transit of illegal narcotics, contraband, and weapons, as well as detecting human trafficking and other criminal activity that takes place on our highways.
How to Apply for Current Open Positions with Montana Highway Patrol
The MHP is currently searching for both Entry-Level Trooper & Lateral-Level Trooper applicants. Initial screening for the opening will take place on July 21st, 2025. Candidates successful in the initial screening process will be eligible/invited to participate in National Police Officer Selection Testing.
