More Contamination Recalls from Cucumbers in Montana

Hold up on those bingo cards for December 2024 everyone!  We have another entry on the board with a new recall.  But this one involves another recent recall that hit our city pretty hard.

The recent cucumbers recall involving salmonella contamination is now found to be part of a recall from the popular box store Sam's Club in Great Falls and across the country.

Sam's Club Latest Grocer to See Recalls Come Through in Montana

For those that shop at a local Sam's Club store, you may want to check the refrigerator if you purchased the Fresh Creative Foods Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kits.  The kits have been recalled in relation to the cucumber recall.

According to the release from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the kits involve one product that contains cucumbers, the tzatziki sauce that is included in the kit.

How to Check Your UPC to see if Your Montana Purchase is Bad

To check your product, the Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kits affected are listed with UPC: 0-13454-38313-1 and have a use by date of 12/24/2024 – 1/6/2025.  They were distributed in Montana and to Sam’s Club warehouses nationally.

The FDA recommends the following for the infected product:

Consumers who have purchased these kits should not consume any part of the kits. If you are uncertain about whether the product that you purchased is impacted, please discard it and visit any Sam’s Club for a full refund.
