Travelling across Great Falls one will undoubtably encounter one of the many parks that dot the cityscape.  Each with their own unique qualities, the city's parks offer something that everyone can enjoy.

Paris Gibson Had a Plan for the Parks in Great Falls Early On

Great Falls founder Paris Gibson knew that parks would be an integral part of the city.  In designing the areas, Gibson made sure that there was ample room for them.  Now, the Park and Recreation Department manages 57 of them.

Great Falls City Ordinance Rules and Regulations for Local Parks

Under city code 9.3.10.010, Great Falls has specific rules and regulations regarding the enjoyment of our parks.  Sure, there are easy ones:

• Park is closed dusk to dawn
• Not pets not on a leash
• Don't block entrances with vehicles
