From Visit Montana:
- Take Highway 191 South toward Big Sky from Four Corners
- Drive past Meadow Golf Course
- Turn right onto Big Sky Spur Road for 3 miles
- Turn left onto Ousel Falls road
- On the left, Ousel Falls Park sign and trailhead

Ousel Falls is a quick well maintained trail to beautiful waterfalls. I recommend this to anyone visiting! I saw older people, small children and many dogs. There are benches along the way if you get winded. It starts out going downhil the flat across a bridge, then uphill, downhill and uphill again then back. The elevation change had me sitting at benches along the way, but I did it and Im in my mid sixties and out of shape. If I could do it anyone can and its so worth it!"

Worth the drive from Bozeman! Hyalite Canyon was impossible to drive through, so we decided to try Ousel Falls. I don’t hike much, and the air is thinner than it is at my home, so this hike was perfect for me. Snow was packed down enough for me to hike with just my Brooks tennis shoes. This would be ok for older kids. It took us 45 minutes to the falls and back, even with a couple of stops for me to catch my breath. It was a perfect post-Christmas-food-binge hike.
