If you're like me and a fan of shows on channels like Food Network, Travel, and HGTV, well there's a new show that just might be right up your alley.

Over the last several years, we've had a few Montana highlights when it comes to real estate and restaurants. Shows like Living Big Sky, Man VS Food, plus Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives have made their way to The Treasure State, but now comes a brand new show that not only features the beauty of Montana, but some delicious food as well.

But what if you were to take the scenery of Montana and combine it with cooking? It just so happens, that that's exactly what they did.

The new show, which is on The Magnolia Network (yes, that is the Chip and Joanna channel) will focus on not only cooking and entertaining, but the love of the outdoors as well, oh, and it just happens to be hosted by the daughter of an 8-time Oscar-nominated actress.

The Mountain Kitchen had its premiere on November 5th and stars Annie Starke and while that name might not automatically ring a bell, chances are, her mother's name does.

Starke is the daughter of actress Glenn Close and wanted to be closer to family and decided to combine her love for cooking and the outdoors.  Starke not only came up with the idea but pitched it as well and hence The Mountain Kitchen was born.

As mentioned, the show is on The Magnolia Network which is available on the Discovery Plus streaming service. Close herself is relatively new to Montana as well moving here back in 2019 and settling in the Bozeman area.
