Mobilize The MAGIC City

With this grant, the city of Billings is aiming to improve economic development, road safety, health outcomes, and more by involving these artists in community planning and design. This project will include at least two creative "placemaking hubs" (described in the release as "public art informed by a community engagement), a "placemaking playbook" (which documents effective processes used), and a "Public Arts Committee Feasibility Study".

Right now, Mobilize the MAGIC City is in the public engagement phase, meaning they want feedback from the community. Multiple events are coming up where you can join in, meet the Artist-In-Residence Terri Porta, and share your thoughts on expanding art in the Magic City.
