What Californians Can Learn From This Viral Montana Survival Video
Recently, a woman who moved to Montana from Cali shared her experience on TikTok. In the video, @garciagbianca explains that she's moving back to California after spending less than two winters in Big Sky Country.

Montana is the only state she's lived in other than California, and she prefaced her "Montana Survival Guide" by saying that she loved living her and that Montana is beautiful.
That's before she got real, and shared some of the things she noticed, which she calls "different."
People love to drink here. Drinking and gambling. There's a casino on every corner, and any gas station you walk into is going to have a casino and a bar. It's insane.
She went on to say that if you enjoy indulging in adult beverages, Montana has some great dive bars. Also, the drinks are cheap.

She said during the winter that she didn't know how to "exist and breath" because of temperatures that drop well below zero. In California, 60 degrees is cold.
Montana people are built different. It's nuts.
She said that most Montanans don't have a filter, but they're nice. She wasn't hesitant to let people know that she was from California.
Her advice to Californians is to "not act like you're from California," Be respectful and people will be respectful back to you. Here's a few other pieces of advice she shared in the video.
- Switch your car tags if you're from California
- People are nicer and more kind in Montana
- Bars are cooler because you meet a variety of sports fans
- There's a lack of diversity and diverse food options
Overall, she said she loved her time in Montana, and she's glad she took a leap of faith and moved to a different state.
