Montana’s Top Vacation Spot Is One Of The Worlds Most Popular.

Winters can be long in Montana and often go well into spring.  In fact, it seems that some years we completely skip spring and go right into summer and as we all know, summer is a busy time here in The Treasure State.

Each summer the state is invaded with all kinds of minivans, SUVs, and RVs filled with people from all over the world that want to have a week or two away and experience some of that "Montana Magic".

Tourism is big business in Montana and while many locals might not like the busy roads or the long lines at restaurants, the state makes a ton of money for those visiting Big Sky Country and so do many local business owners. According to Trips To Discover's data, the most popular summer destination is Glacier National Park. It would be hard to argue with this, as Glacier is simply one of the most beautiful places on the earth, plus it also has the destination of being part of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
