Do you remember Sunday evenings in the '90s? For me, it was usually a time to relax after a long weekend of playing outside. I remember my Mom hurrying to prepare dinner and get me in the bath before Bob Sagat would come on to host America's Funniest Home Videos. It was the highlight of my weekend. My chance to laugh and spend time with my family.

Looking back to a time before the constant flood of internet videos, the clips on America's Funniest Home Videos were pretty tame. Mostly slapstick videos of people getting caught off guard by a whiffle ball to the crotch or a montage of people falling down on the ski hill.

Fast forward 30 years later, and I still find myself rushing to take a bath before AFV. America's Funniest Home Videos has continued to air for all these years. Now it is simply called AFV, and it is hosted by "Carlton" from "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." (Alfonso Ribiero).

Keilee Edwards of Great Falls recently went viral with a video of her taking a bite of a cattail. Her grandmother found it amusing and sent in the video to the long-running TV show ‘America’s Funniest Videos’ for consideration. Keilee's mom Heidi said, “She won second place, which was $6,000. So I told her, you know, hey, you could either take that money and invest it and wait to 18, let it grow, or buy a vehicle or something.”

Keilee had an interview with Alfonso about the video and managed to become a finalist on the show. All for doing something that we have all wanted to try. Take a long look at one of the many cattails we have in Montana, and tell me it doesn't look like a delicious corn dog.
