A week ago, today we wrapped up the 2nd Annual Women's Expo at the Four Seasons Arena.  Year two proved to be bigger than year one, and year three will be the best one yet.  There were more vendors this year offering unique products and services.  Vendors were spending time with potential new clients answering questions about what they are offering, from home remodeling to tattoos.  In a word of online chat with an automated customer service representative, the Women's Expo gave us the opportunity to step back in time and enjoy some face-to-face interactions with local vendors.  Let's face it, being a consumer in today's world, has changed significantly.  Thanks to the vendors who spent the weekend with us giving us the opportunity to ask questions and get to know you and your product a little bit more.

I can only imagine the struggles of owning a business these days or what it took for you to be a vendor at the Women's Expo but, Thank You!  I can speak for everyone on this, we appreciated seeing you last weekend and look forward to seeing you next year at the Expo.  Unless of course I become a regular customer and use your services or products throughout the year.   I might not be in the market to buy a home right now, but I do know Neighborworks can help out first time home buyers.   I know there is a portable axe throwing cage that you can book for parties, because Broke Axe was at the Women's Expo letting me throw an axe at a target.  Where else do you have the opportunity to buy some tulip bulbs from Parker Farms Greenhouse, pierce your ears with Alpha Tattoo, chat with a personal trainer from Falls Fitness, take a look at the new fall collection from Ingie's Fashions, check out crystals from Stranger Things, and see what's new from City Toyota?

Nowhere.  That's the point.  So, if we all keep doing our part then we all can continue to enjoy events like these.  Keep showing up!  It really does matter.

Dates for 2023 are September 29, 30, and October 1st.  Interested in signing up as a vendor?  Click here.
