Billings was just named the most dangerous city in Montana, but don't let that deter you from thinking nothing good has come from Billings.

There was a time when Billings had everyone laughing. In fact, Billings holds the record for Oldest Performing Clown in the world.

Born in 1916, and sadly passing away at the bountiful age of 98, Floyd "Creeky" Creekmore had been entertaining people from ages 1-100 since the tender age of 10. Creeky had the ability to literally "turn that frown, upside down".

Creekmore was a rancher and a builder, and after he was finished with those careers, he became a Shriner. Performing to raise money for hospitals all over the United States, that took care of sick children.

In 2012, Creekmore was inducted into the Guinness World Records book at the age of 95. A dream for so many performers is to set records, and Creekmore did so shortly before his passing. From the sounds of it, Creekmore was loved and adored by so many, and all he had to do was be his silly, selfless, self.

Creekmore didn't perform much after losing the love of his life, Betty of 74 years. A marriage lasting that long is almost unheard of nowadays.

If you had the opportunity to see or hear stories about the legendary clown, Creeky, consider yourself one of the lucky ones!

To anyone chasing their dreams of becoming a clown, keep Creeky in the back of your mind any time someone along your path tells you to stop. Keep the clown in you shining bright.
